The usframe crew Home

We would be hard pressed to put a definitive label on this Web site. Mostly, it is about topics, interests and hobbies that more or less, define us.

There is a separate section for the Appalachian Trail adventures under the Outdoors menu.

Plenty of pics and travel dialog coming soon on our recent trip to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. Finally had a Saturday without rain, and the sky was clear. Seems like we will have a video and slideshow dedicated to the whitetail deer, as they were more then happy to pose.

More pics and video coming on local Berks County hiking, camping, and backpacking fun.

Check out the new knife reviews listed under knives/blades in the drop down menu. Benchmade and Kershaw are featured.

A trip to Monocacy Hill is documented with lots of great photos. Little tidbit, that area of Berks County is documented to be the farthest point north that William Penn had ventured.

Gear Reviews and Demos for Hiking, Camping, Backpacking, and Everyday Use

Always something going on with the usframe crew. As busy folk, we utilize a wide variety of tools, and other implements. Now, allow me to explain, more than just reviews, we use gear. Often, you will see the product or item being used in the field in practical applications...or maybe not! But, you will see something.

New Jerky Gun Review

See our review of the Nesco Jerky Gun on YouTube. Hopefully this will be a long term solution for making jerky.

Penny Alcohol Stove

We received a request to explain the light-weight, home-made stove we are using in our videos when not cooking over a campfire. Jared details the process...
